A New York woman vacationing on a Florida beach is recovering after a pickup truck “ran over her head” while she tanned in her chair. The tourist’s name has not been released, but the incident happened in Daytona Beach on Wednesday just before 3 p.m., the Volusia Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

The driver reportedly told investigators she did not realize she ran the woman over until she was chased down by a witness.
