Chevy Trax units will need a master brake cylinder replacement to correct reduced brake performance, according to a recent GM service update.

Owners should bring their vehicle to their respective dealer and have them replace the brake master cylinder, if necessary. A leaky unit will also require the brake booster to be replaced.
