The NPD says Esparza turned left in front of Pritchard causing the collision. Pritchard was also thrown from his motorcycle. Pritchard was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Authorities said the driver was ejected during the crash and flown to a Lubbock hospital, were he later succumbed to his injuries.
