Thursday has been a wild morning for drivers along the Durham-Granville County lines after a pair of crashes closed Interstate 85 for multiple hours.

Tolls are being considered as a way to accelerate conversion of U.S. 1/Capital Boulevard into a six-lane expressway between Raleigh and Wake Forest.
