In his stint as interim head coach for the New York Jets, new Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich learned some hard truths.

They wouldn’t and they won’t, Ulbrich said Monday during his introductory news conference. He said both coaches are better since that coaching staff was swept out following Ulbrich’s tenure as interim defensive coordinator under interim head coach Morris in 2020.

As an NFL coach, Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has been around the block. Over the last 10 years, Ulbrich has been a position coach, assistant head coach, defensive coordinator and interim head coach.
