Kate Winslet will paint someone else like one of their French girls for a change. Per Screen Daily, the Academy Award-winning actor has begun preproduction on her directorial debut entitled Goodbye June.

Kate Winslet is currently preparing for her feature directorial debut, 'Goodbye June,' which is scheduled to be filmed in the UK for Netflix in collaboration with Working Title Films, according to the UK portal Screen International.

Goodbye June is based on a script by Winslet’s son Joe Anders, and will star Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, Winslet and Helen Mirren. Winslet is also producing the film with Kate Solomon, with Working Title as executive producers.

Winslet will also act in and produce the "touching, yet humorous" drama about a "fractured group of siblings," which will star Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall and Helen Mirren.

Kim first appeared on screens at the age of 9 in the 2010 action movie The Man from Nowhere, and seemed set to have a glowing career as an actor, but her career was dramatically derailed after a drunken car crash in May 2022.
