Five teens from the Jackson-Lakewood area were in a minivan on North Hope Chapel Road early Friday when it hit a deer then slammed into a tree.

Giselle Munoz Villar “lost directional control, ran off the roadway, and (her Nissan) overturned multiple times,” said a NJ State Police spokesman.

An accident in Jackson claimed the lives of three people in a Jewish school minivan that crashed after hitting a deer.
