Michigan football will open the 2025 season with a night game. Two of them, to be exact. The Wolverines will host New Mexico in their Aug. 30 season opener under the lights at Michigan Stadium, a 7:30 p.

Michigan will open the season with consecutive night games for the first time in program history. The Wolverines kick off the season Aug. 30 with their first meeting against New Mexico on NBC at 7:30 p.m. and the next week will play their road showdown against Oklahoma on ABC at 7:30 p.m.

The Wolverines announced kickoff times and TV channels for all of their September games, including a first for the opening two games of the year.
