Thousands of "No Kings Day" protests are set to be held throughout the country on Saturday to protest the Trump administration.

The “day of defiance” protests began as early as 10 a.m. in North Texas, while the Washington, D.C., military parade for the Army’s 250th birthday starts at 5:30 p.m. Central.

On Saturday (January 14), mass protests against President Donald Trump took place across the US at the same time as a military parade in Washington D.C. for the Army’s 250th anniversary, which also fell on Trump's 79th birthday.

The events in St. Cloud started with a performance rally, called "Step Right Up for Justice," in front of the Stearns County Courthouse, where several hundred people lined W. St. Germain Street, visited booths from local organizations and sang with volunteers. An estimated over three hundred were in attendance.

The No Kings protestors spread from Pine Grove Park Drive to Prospect Place. Greg Gale held a sign stating "Veterans against Trump." He said he served in the Marine Corp from 1975-79. "The way the country is right now under Donald Trump, its terrible," he said. "We take an oath to the Constitution, but he's breaking his oath daily."
