For the first time in nearly half a century, a monarch is delivering Canada’s Speech from the Throne, effectively laying out Prime Minister Mark Carney’s goals for the upcoming parliamentary session.

King Charles and Queen Camilla’s visit to Canada will last two days, culminating in Charles' throne speech to Parliament on May 27.
