Ohio State coach Ryan Day has confirmed that the Buckeyes national championship football team will visit the White House on April 14.

Ohio State is planning to play a regular spring game on April 12. Ryan Day said the decision to call it a spring showcase was to leave “wiggle room in case of injuries.”

Kirsten Simms scored the tying goal late and then had the game-winner in overtime to give Wisconsin a 4-3 victory over Ohio State in the national championship.
