A year of hard work and dedication following a fifth place in the Class 5A 110-meter hurdles at last year’s state track meet paid off for Loveland junior Jackson Conroy on Saturday.

The Wilmington High boys track and field team split two recent meets, beating Stoneham and fal­ling to Wakefield.
