According to NYC Parks, more than 7.4 million people last year visited the city's beaches, which are free to the general public and will remain open through September 7, 2025.

Whether it's the beach, a public pool, outdoor dining or any of the other things that make the city great, officials say they have it covered.

Admission will be free on Memorial Day weekend, as will the rides. Playland's pool and beach are set to operate normally. Prices after that will vary, depending on how many rides are up and running.
