National Weather Service meteorologists are warning of a severe storm expected to hit several states on Friday night.

Temperatures will be quite warm for mid-March with highs Sunday ranging from the mid 60s to low 70s. Winds of 20 to 30 mph will gust as high as 45 mph and an advisory might be issued. AccuWeather.com says the Philadelphia-New York corridor will have “drenching downpours” and locally severe thunderstorms and notes travel disruptions are possible.
