Despite rumors and speculation that LeBron James could request a trade away from the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason, some in the NBA reportedly aren't convinced that he really wants to play elsewhere.

In a recent trade idea from The Athletic’s Fred Katz, there would be plenty of intrigue between the Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers once again. His trade idea would involve moving LeBron James to the Mavericks in exchange for Klay Thompson, Daniel Gafford, and P.J. Washington.

According to NBA insider Jovan Buha, LeBron James‘ relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers‘ front office is not “in the best place right now.” James,
