Despite AEW's exceptional All In event dominating the conversation among wrestling fans on Saturday, WWE's latest installment of Saturday Night's Main Event still proved to be somewhat newsworthy, if not ultimately unnecessary.

The Ring General lived up to his name by somehow pulling a decent-to-good match out of the 58-year-old Hall of Famer.

Goldberg won the World Championship five times, including the two Universal Championship runs he had post his return to wrestling in 2016. His last win for the belt came in 2020, where he defeated The Fiend Bray Wyatt. The legend has also been inducted into the Hall of Fame back in 2017.

Goldberg’s final match took place at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL, where he challenged GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship.
