NFL Insider Mike Florio provided a troubling update on the job security of New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn.
Just a few months ago, Glenn was in the picture to become the next Saints head coach due to his history in New Orleans. Glenn played one season in black and gold in 2008 and was the Saints’ defensive backs coach from 2016-2020.
Aaron Glenn made a big move this week, firing defensive coordinator Steve Wilks.
The Jets tasked Wilks with fielding a defense that, earlier this season, shipped two of the best players out of town. The Jets traded cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys at the deadline in two of the biggest moves of the season.
