Bayern Munich are chasing Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, but will turn their attention to an Arsenal star if they cannot get their first choice. Diaz has been pursued by both Barcelona and Bayern this summer, but neither European giant appears to have made much of a breakthrough yet.
Despite previously turning down approaches, Liverpool are still believed to be open to selling Diaz even though the player remains under contract until 2027, but the club remains adamant on offloading him only if they receive bids around €70–80 million (£60-68m/$70-82m).
Barcelona’s approach is, in MARCA’s words, “two-sided and without urgency.” The chase for Athletic Club’s Nico Williams fell flat after the player rejected their offer and renewed in Bilbao. Now, the spotlight is firmly on two names. Marcus Rashford is said to be Flick’s new favourite, while the pursuit of Díaz is more layered and unclear.
