Texas A&M coach Mike Elko and the Aggies aren't content to simply reach the College Football Playoff for the first time ahead of their debut against Miami.
The Texas A&M Aggies are gearing up to welcome perhaps the most important game to come to Kyle Field in decades, as they host the Miami Hurricanes for the first round of the College Football Playoff.
The Aggies lead the nation in sacks and also boast a veteran offensive line averaging nearly 200 rushing yards per game. According to PFF, Miami’s defensive line grades as the second-best unit in the nation, while its offensive line ranks fifth.
Le’Veon Moss, A&M’s star running back who has been out since Oct. 11, was listed as questionable for the College Football Playoff matchup.
On one end of the field, Texas A&M’s receiving duo of KC Concepcion and Mario Craver forms one of the most dynamic combinations in the country. On Miami’s side of things, freshman Malachi Toney gives quarterback Carson Beck an electrifying receiving option of his own.
