The Red Sox hired Collin Hetzler as Triple-A Worcester ’s new hitting coach. He spent four seasons in the Mets’ organization, including as Triple-A Syracuse’s hitting coach the past two seasons. He will join Doug Clark as co-hitting coaches.

Blake Sabol played 121 games in the previous two seasons, where he has accumulated 83 hits, bringing him to a .243 batting average.
