Live updates: Winter storm leads to uptick in Dallas crashes, garbage pickup suspended
A winter storm warning was issued for large parts of North Texas on Thursday, as snow and sleet will fall across large parts of North Texas. Two to 4 inches of snow and sleet combination looks most likely for the Dallas-Fort Worth area with more in the north and northeast parts of the region. More wintery weather is also forecasted for Friday.

Dallas weather: How much snow has fallen in North Texas?
Parts of North Texas have already seen a significant amount of snow, with more expected in the coming hours. Snow has been falling in Denton and Collin County for a decent amount of the day, while Tarrant County and Dallas County have seen less snow. Areas like Celina and Bonham saw a reported six inches of snow by 5 p.m.
