Fire crews in Henderson were called out to a large warehouse fire in the 1100 block of First Street around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon. Explosions and smoke for miles as a fire spiraled out of control inside a warehouse the size of a city block.

A warehouse fire has sent massive plumes of smoke seen across Dayton. Dayton Fire crews are currently working in the area of Salem Avenue and Litchfield Avenue on a structure fire. The fire was first called in around noon and quickly upgraded to a working fire.

The Henderson fire and police departments responded to the blaze at 1156 First Street around 12:30 p.m. Fire crews from surrounding towns assisted.

Multiple crews of Kentucky firefighters are expected to work overnight Wednesday battling a fire in Henderson.
