Even in my own case, I use an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and my RAM is using an XMP profile that I selected in the BIOS, not an EXPO profile. It runs completely fine, and there are many cases like it.
When you've assembled a new PC, you should always make a trip to the BIOS/UEFI and enable the XMP (Intel CPUs) or EXPO (AMD CPUs) setting corresponding to the advertised speed on your RAM.
