BAFTA Film Awards took place on Sunday at London’s Royal Festival Hall, with actor David Tennant returning as the prestigious ceremony’s host.

The BAFTAs are yet another Oscar precursor that may give us a clearer indication of what’s to come at the Dolby on March 2.

Zoe Saldaña continued her awards season sweep of the best supporting actress category with another win at Bafta, despite the recent controversies faced by her film Emilia Pérez. Backstage, she reflected on her biggest number in the Spanish-language musical, El Mal, which is also up for best original song at the Oscars.
