Evanescence‘s Amy Lee has responded to rumors that she’s Linkin Park‘s new vocalist, denying the rumor but offering an eye-opening response to the possibility of doing something with the band.

Music soundtracks were big in the '90s, and as it turns out Amy Lee began to formulate the sound of Evanescence after finding inspiration in one of the decade's biggest soundtrack hits.

Part of the reason for feeling that way was because Lee wanted to add new music to Evanescence's live set. Even though the band changed it as much as possible, she was ready to freshen things up.
