Monday’s series opener between the Guardians and Twins was suspended after the third inning due to heavy rain at Target Field. Minnesota leads Cleveland, 2-1, behind an RBI double by Willi Castro off Guardians starting pitcher Logan Allen.

The Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians tried to get as many innings in as possible Monday night, but waves of heavy rain stopped them after completing three innings and the game was suspended until 5:10 p.m. CT Tuesday.
