HBO just confirmed the six adult leads from its upcoming Harry Potter TV series and pledges a "faithful adaptation."

On Monday, the network announced that John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu, and Nick Frost will join the main cast as Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape, and Rubeus Hagrid, respectively. HBO also confirmed two guest roles: Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.
