The state is closing two Boone County thoroughfares in June that will complicate commutes in Dover and Zionsville. U.S. 421 will be closed north of Zionsville for work on a bridge over Eagle Creek.

Officials state this will take place on May 28 at 10 a.m. on the west side of the completed bridge. The bridge opened late last year after construction started in September 2023.
