The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to two upcoming traffic alerts in the Town of Geddes.

Police are asking for any potential witnesses to the fatal pedestrian crash on the NYS Thruway/I-87 in Yonkers to come forward.

State police say the southbound lanes were shut down as troopers directed traffic off the highway at the exit ramp, then allowed vehicles back on after the overpass.
