Donald Trump chimed in again on 60 Minutes, CBS and Paramount, this time complaining that the newsmagazine has treated him “far worse” since the David Ellison-led takeover of the company. He wrote on Truth Social,
One month after Trump settled his lawsuit with Paramount, CBS’s parent company was acquired by Skydance Media in August. New CEO David Ellison selected Bari Weiss as the editor-in-chief of CBS News in October, and Trump previously praised her when he appeared on 60 Minutes in November.
The eye-popping numbers led Late Show host Stephen Colbert to muse about the Paramount bid during his monologue Tuesday night. (Paramount owns CBS, which airs The Late Show. )

Earlier this year, Skydance acquired Paramount, the parent company of CBS News. Company leadership has since placed Bari Weiss in charge. Weiss famously resigned from the New York Times to form The Free Press and has positioned herself as a supporter of free speech and traditional journalism.
