Hundreds of Auburn residents remain under evacuation orders as water levels continue to rise along the Green River.

Emergency officials in Auburn issued a "Level 3, Go Now" Evacuation Order for the north part of the city late Saturday night, due to flooding of the Green River.

A levee has failed on the Green River, and people who are in low-lying areas of Kent, Renton, and Tukwila should move to higher ground immediately.

The City of Tukwila is encouraging people to be ready to leave on short notice due to possible flash flooding.

According to the governor’s office, first responders had conducted at least 629 rescues and 572 assisted evacuations.

Tukwila Police clarified evacuation orders were for a specific industrial area and not residential or commercial districts.

Residents in the Stehekin Valley community on Lake Chelan have been ordered to evacuate due to more flooding risks from the incoming storm Monday.

AUBURN, Wash. — Parts of Auburn remain under evacuation orders Monday as the region remains under a Flood Warning. On Sunday, city officials issued a Level 3 "Go Now" evacuation notice for residents and businesses across multiple neighborhoods as severe and rapidly worsening flooding spreads through the community.

"The flooding levels we're looking at are potentially historic in nature," Gov. Bob Ferguson said Thursday afternoon, urging people to listen to official advice and follow evacuation orders.
