Police were searching for the suspect responsible for shooting and killing a person Monday evening in an apparent road rage incident, according to officials.

A road rage shooting left one man dead in Fort Worth Monday night near East Loop 820 and Randol Mill Road. Police are still searching for the person responsible. NBC 5’s Alicia Barrera is in Fort Worth where she spoke to the family of the victim. The man killed during a suspected road rage shooting has been identified as 62-year-old Ricky Langs.

Northbound lanes of East Loop 820 are closed after a man was found shot in his vehicle Monday night. Fort Worth police said east units were called to East Loop 820 & Meadowbrook around 6:45 p.m. for a traffic hazard.

Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 900 block of East Ramsey Avenue. No arrest have been made.

A man who had been shot in the Morningside section of Fort Worth was dropped off late Sunday at a hospital emergency room, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released his name or age.

Fort Worth officers found an unconscious man in a car on the northbound Loop 820 service road on Monday night. He died from a gunshot wound to the torso. Police are investigating whether he was shot during a road rage incident.
