Hideki Matsuyama is $3.6 million richer after winning last week's Sentry, the PGA Tour Signature event at Kapalua, in Maui, Hawaii that opened the Tour season. He and 34 other players at Kapalua are now in Honolulu this week to try and add to their head start on the Tour money list.

The PGA Tour's Hawaiian Swing makes its second stop this week at the Sony Open, at the historic Waialae Country Club. Last week's winner at The Sentry, Hideki Matsuyama, leads 35 players who competed at the short-field opening event in Maui and are making the quick hop to Honolulu for the first full-field tournament of the season.

This week marks the PGA Tour’s second event of the season, but first full-field tournament at it remains in Hawaii for the Sony Open. Taking the flight from Maui to Honolulu was Hideki Matsuyama, the record-setting victor from The Sentry last week at Kapalua.
