Plans to build a new Oklahoma County Jail are moving forward despite the county not having all of the money to fully fund it.

A new exhibit featuring Oklahoma’s Miss America pageants over the years is coming to the Oklahoma History Center Museum and is set to open on August 30.

The biggest threat is along the barrier islands of North Carolina’s Outer Banks where evacuations have been ordered.
