Sunderland winger Romaine Mundle has revealed he has successfully undergone surgery as he prepares for the start of the Premier League season.

Alan Jones, 64, ferried passengers to safety by driving them to a safe hub on his quad bike following the crash in Somerset on Thursday.

A 33-year-old man, from Loughton, was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of violent disorder and criminal damage.
