A woman who won an $83.5 million lottery jackpot in Texas last month is still waiting for her payout as officials sort out whether the way she purchased the ticket will prevent her from collecting the winnings.

A Powerball ticket sold in Texas won a $1 million prize, just missing the $527 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, March 29, the Texas Lottery said.
