Bolling Hall is a rambling mixture of styles, with rooms furnished and decorated to give an accurate taste of life at different periods of the house's history, and the fascinating furniture on display includes a superb bed made for Harewood House by Thomas Chippendale.

Bolling Hall has witnessed the tumult of English history, playing a pivotal role in the Civil War as a Royalist stronghold during the Siege of Bradford. It was restored in the early 20th century and opened as a museum in 1915.

Hidden in the middle of a built up area a short drive from Bradford town centre, this is well worth a visit. Visited today (Sunday). Plenty of (free) parking available. The grounds are well maintained and the blossoms on the trees with the house in the background made for some great photos. The staff are very welcoming and engaging.
