Jan 22, 2015 · Painted Calipers are part of the External Sport package on the X351. And if you look at how the calipers become rusty so fast I think they are a prime candidate for painting. I will eventually get round to painting mine Red. They had started to rust before the car was a year old. Some may prefer a subtle silver or black.

Mar 8, 2022 · My fronts could do with a proper de-rust and a bit of paint. Just buy the cheapest coated discs you can find online. AUTODOC may offer good prices, but still worth shopping around. They will last better than non-coated types. The only way to prevent them rusting is to use the vehicle more often.
