I only use Amsoil personally because I know for a fact, with data to prove it, that Amsoil is the best engine oil on the planet. Schaffer's is up there.

Some even don't bother with Toyota oil, choose whatever is the inexpensive but put Toyota oil on your invoice. Watch out if you don't change oil yourselves. Some change the oil with wrong weight but print right oil weight in the invoice to fool you.

So it is about 1/4" to 1/3" over the top indentation for the max level. I know that having more engine than you suppose to can easily over-pressurize your engine and cause damage.

My old camry was a 1998 v6, I drove for 283,000 miles never having to ad oil and only changing the oil every 10,000 miles.:chug: Now driving a 2008 camry v6 se with 30,000 miles.:thumbsup:
