Jul 2, 2008 · Been wandering around EcoModder.com, and I found an interesing post on "zigzag tape", which actually functions as a vortex generator. It actually does its job extremely well for how simple it is. Here are windtunnel tests performed on a glider wing.

Place the foot of the Vortex Generators on a piece of painter's striping tape, sticky side up. This plastic tape can be found at any automotive store. Please do not use masking tape - it will leave a residue of glue on the foot of the VGs and tends to disintegrate once sprayed with paint.
