Jun 23, 2011 · The "Raven" R1 was introduced in 2005 and has stuck around in various forms for the last few years - it means nothing more than the black version of the bike. In 07 there was a charcoal colored R1 that is often mistaken for a "Raven Edition" otherwise black R1.
