Stripping Twin and Earth Cable Has Never Been More Fun. In this video I look at stripping 1mm2 PVC/PVC twin and CPC cable often called twin and earth cable. I use mechanical wire strippers to remove the outer grey PVC offering mechanical protection, exposing the brown line conductor, blue neutral conductor and bare CPC conductor. Next using the wire strippers I remove the thermoplastic PVC around the copper conductors of the line and neutral (both live conductors) and double over the ends. Final
