Saggar firing technique in action. Today I want to show you how to do the Saggar technique with a Raku kiln. Each piece is wrapped with kitchen foil, all ingredients are inside. The ingredients are: salt, sawdust and copper wire. The horsehair decoration is applied when the temperature of the piece is reaching 500/550 degrees. For these type of colour I ve reached 890 degrees. The vase is cleaned with a sponge and polished with wax to get shine surface. I hope you will enjoy this video!! 🔥🔥 |
