On February 21, 1993 WCW SuperBrawl III was held at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The main event was a “White Castle of Fear Strap” match between Big Van Vader (with Harley Race) and Sting. After a DDT and some stiff punches from Sting, Vader began to bleed from his ear, which worsened as the match progressed.
