Six radial engines turning! The first flight of the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress prototype began at Boeing Field on July 28, 1935. Today is the 90th anniversary of this historic event, and of course Museum PR Guy was outside to see the anni honored when one of only three B-17s still flying landed at Boeing Field. It arrived with a B-25, and both are based here at the Museum for a couple weeks of ground tours and ride flights as part of the CAF Arizona Airbase Flying Legends of Victory Tour. 4 eng
