Authentic Cuban Tostones w/ Garlic Mojo 🇨🇺🔥 recipe ⬇️ 3 green plantains, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks 2 cups water 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp salt Oil Cut 3 or 4 slits down the sides of the plantains. Peel and cut into 1 inch chunks. Fry in oil until slightly golden, about 3-4 minutes. Cool down and use a tostonera, cup or bowl to evenly flatten (not too thin). Combine water, garlic powder and salt in a bowl. Dip flattened plantains into the garlic salt water for 10 seconds and fry again
