MACON FOOD: No one in Middle Georgia should sleep on Macon’s food scene. There are several downtown restaurants that offer memorable breakfast options, including H&H Soul Food Restaurant (of The Allman Brothers Band fame), Sweet Eleanors, and Taste & See. I unfortunately did sleep on one of the “newer” downtown restaurants, although it opened way back in 2021.
